I've noticed the paint is wearing off the driver interior door-handle and the steering wheel plastic trim below the bottom-left radio control button, anyone else?
I don't have paint on my interior door handle. But the plastic on the steering wheel, or any trim piece can be replaced.
Thanks for your response.
Let me rephrase the question by changing "paint" to "color pigmentation."
Yes, I know it's replaceable; however, the idea of a 6 month old vehicle's trim looking worn out bothers me and frankly, I shouldn't have to be replacing these pieces on a regular basis. I am trying to determine if I'm the exeption or if there is a mfg. problem with the parts.
Anyone else?
I also had to have mine replaced, the switches on the steering wheel, the radio controls were the worst. After replacement though, no problem - I think they just got a batch of them that the paint was not baked on enough. Have not had the door handle problem YET. Thats probably the next thing to go. I am getting really sick of going to the dealer!
If you mean the upright panels on the actual door pulls, I was thinking of replacing those anyhow. The ones on the Infiniti QX56 are a nice wood. Would look nice.
I've owned vehicles since 1971 and have never had interior trim start showing signs of wear and tear at such an early date. I'm disappointed Nissan finds this acceptable, I certainly don't, although yes, I can take it back to the dealer on a regular basis for warranty. Spending my time at the dealership is analagous to going to the dentist; personally, I'd rather be driving the Titan and having fun it, wouldn't ya'll?
