You can put use blocks, but the biggest issue is that the rear shocks have about 8" of travel. A stock Titan sits with about 3" of droop (extension) using a block will decrease that amount by the thickness of the block. No droop, especially on the rear end, equates to a really rough ride. You can increase the length of the shock, but you will also want to increase the distance of the bumpstop by the proper amount, to keep the shock from bottoming out. You can always weld new shock mounts on too.
As for axle wrap, look at the way the leaf springs mount to the axle, they sit on top of the axle tube. The axle wants to rotate forward, under the leaves on acceleration. Putting blocks under the rear will increase the leverage that the axle can rotate, or twist, the leaves. Is it a problem? It can be, although people have used blocks for years (even alot of stock 4x's) without many side effects. Hope that helped clear things up a bit.
