Mounting towing controller

Hi. Just wondering where did most of you mount your towing controller? I have all of the wiring figured out but wanted to see where the most convenient place to mount the controller would be. Pictures would be helpful. Thanks

I mounted on the panel below and right of steering wheel just above the gas pedal. It is on somewhat of an angle but the mounting bracket has adjustments which allow you to level enough. I think your allowed up to a 70 degree angle. mine is not even 45 degrees. If you search some guys posted pics of the in the following thread which covered this topic. Good luck.

I mounted mine the same spot, just to the right of the steering column. I thought it might interfer with my leg but it doesn't and I can get to it to manually control the electric brake. I use self-drilling screws and attached to a metal strip right behind the lip edge.

I also mounted mine in the same exact spot. Works great there.

I mounted mine above the ones mentioned on the plastic. The angle of the prodigy still works well and you have a very clear view of the unit. I've had no problems with braking. The prodigy will also let you know if you have exceeded the angle limit.

Mine is there too, but at a much steeper angle so I don't hit my knee on it.

Above the emergency brake. Still have full use of the emergency brake and it's out of the way.

I didn't want to drill any holes in the dash and mine can be mounted vertically so I routed the wiring to the storage tray thing along the center console. Mine sits vertically as far forward in the tray with the wires slipping between the two pieces of plastic that make up the tray. Then I velcroed it to the center console to reduce any chance of rattles. Works like a charm and no drilling or exposed wires.
