Temporary Mod to my Titan

I saw my Titan at the body shop w/o its bumper on, looked sort of cool.

The all black below the headlights, (radiator, fan, truck's frame, gave it a very aggressive look. Blacked-out below the headlights, hmmm. Wish I had a camera with me. Should get my Titan back tomorrow.

I had gone by the body shop to drop off a couple of bolts and nuts that the tow truck guy removed when he pulled out the bumper from the front tire. This was from a hit and run suv's right tire. The driver tried to turn onto my road, way too late, and actually hit the right side of my front bumper as I was waiting to make a left at a stop sign. The suv never stopped.

Thanks. The body shop is the same one the dealer uses and the insurance adjuster said they are very good.

$1,700 and something, before they got the bumper off and found out one of the headlight assy. is broken too. I bet those are a lot. The fog was $144!

At $144 for the fog...they should just order the entire kit for $30 more and give you the extra light and stalk for spare parts!

I don't think the insurance company would have gone for that one.

But perhaps the body shop, if they were aware of the kit might have done this, (paid the difference), and stocked the spare. Depends on how long they thought that they would have to hold the part on the shelf.
