bed cover question

I was looking at the Retrax roll up lexan bed cover. I called them and asked how it's mounted on the utility bed. They said it needs to have four one quarter inch holes drilled in the truck. I prefer not to drill anything.
What types of cover do any of you have and how is it mounted? I believe the regular beds have a traditional lip to mount it on.
Any help would be great, thanks.

I have the K-Cover folding cover. Love it. Mounts right to the utili-track. No drilling or other "modifications" required. I still have my bed divider installed as well. Finally, it's pretty damn waterproof and lockable. It's about 640 bucks with shipping.

I have the Retrax cover on my CC. Ihad to drill the four holes to mount it. Also you can no longer use the sliding tie-down on the rails. It works great, we have had a lot of rain in Houston recently and my bed stayed dry. It locks into place in any position.

Can you post a few pics of the cover so we can see? I've been looking myself but have yet to find one I like. Thanks

A little notch on the rails with a Dremmel , and you can still use the tie down cleats .

i'm looking to buy the retrax within the next week or so and have the utilitrac. are the holes drilled in the track or truck bed. also how difficult is the install if its pretty straight forward with good directions i'm sure i could do it myself and save some money. any opinions on the retrax would also be appreciated.
Thanks, Brent

I've got pics over on the visual, audio, etc. section. Search for K-Cover and you should find them. If not, I can repost.

could you just cut pieces out of a utiltrac or similar material and mount to bed then mount k-cover OR does it use the utiltrac to run up and back or something? juma
