New '04 Owner Saying Hi

Picked up my 2004 Canteen Titan about a month ago. Since then I've added an ARE hard tonneau and ordered the personalized plates, "SHRUK". It works well with the brawny, green truck that goes anywhere it wants.

I bought it because it's basically ready for use stock. 4wd with the e-locker, enough ground clearance for reasonable trails to do some off-road camping. Other then the cap, I haven't figured out any other necessary modifications. All in due time I suppose.

I was waiting for the '05 Tacomas to come out for a comparison. Once I saw one, and the price, the choice was easy. I also was lucky enough to see a new 05 Frontier at a SCORE event, so I didn't feel like I had to wait.

I love my truck. I normally drive a Miata, so it's a big change. Nice in the snow and rain though. With the newness is starting to wear off, plus the trips to the gas station, I'll be back in the Miata daily soon.

I'll go back to sifting through the old posts now, looking for any must have mods.
