140 Fuel Sending Units on Backorder??

Can anyone corroborate this? My dealer told me this today when I called looking for an update on my '05 with 240 miles that has been sitting at the dealer since Wednesday. I had no idea that this fuel sending unit was such a problem. I have a call into Nissan. In the meantime I am going to switch out of my Ford Focus loaner and deal with the guage problem until the part comes in. I think I am in for a long wait...GOOD GRIEF!!!!

With all of Nissan's problems and excuses it's making me want to trade off.. I hate to say that but its one thing after another here and I feel for my fellow Titaneers!!

Mine has been on backorder for close to a month now. I guess there could be worse things to be on backorder (i.e items that literally put truck out of service). Maybe one will show for X-mas.

no kidding my hood latch is broke, the truck was delivered new this way. If I open the hood it will not close. Been waiting over 1.5 months....
