I took mine in for that... They said they tightened the 4 bolts that secure it to the floor, that fixed it.

I sometimes blame it on the seat, too. Stop farting - that should quiet it up. Should also solve the odor problem in the cab, too!

Okay, I'm about to go nuts!!! Everytime I lubricate my passenger seat, it stops for about 3 days then comes back full force. I've tried WD-40 and an all purpose lubricant. Is there anything that actually works that someone has discovered? Not to mention the fact that everytime I spray something on the seat hinges, it makes my truck stink for about 3 days, just long enough before it starts to sqeak again.

Glad i cam across this thread. My passanger seat is squeaking like crazy only when someone is sitting in it. I tried to find it as someone sat in it - No luck with silicone spray in the joints...I will try the bolts to the floor, didn't think of those.

I had the same problem. There are four bolts that hold the seat to the floor, take each bolt out and grease them with some grease NOT WD-40. Then screw each bolt back in very tight. This has solved my problem. Hope it helps you.

Well, maybe I can help here a little.
I brought my Titan in the other day, because of the same creaking/squeaking driver's seat. Mine does it when you lean on the right side of the seat. My dealer, who happens to be a pretty good one, with decent service guys, took a look at it.

Dealer told me this "We're ordering you a new seat frame. We've had several come in with this problem. We can't tighten the seat bolts. They come loose right away. We think the seats are being over-torqued at the factory, and that the bolts are slightly stripped. When we replace the frame and the bolts, the problem goes away".

I have gotten absolutely NO baloney from my dealer, and believe me folks, I'm a frequent flyer at the dealership. I have no reason to doubt what they say.

Just to make sure we're talking about the same thing, my "squeak" sounds more like a "creak". It happens when I lean on the right side of the seat. I can also hear it when going over bumps. I don't know if its manifestation is weight related. I'm about 215 or so. I think it's more what my dealer says - faulty seat frame.

Anyway, hope that helps.

I didn't think about the seat bolts. I will take a look at those Thursday and see if it helps. If not, then I guess I'll be visiting the dealership myself.
