I just took off my spacer at the back by the tailgate. It acts as a stopper for the bed extender. They were rusting where they touched the railing. Taking it in on Monday night.

I dont think my cleats will ever rust.. (still in box under seat ) ..

No rust here, but I did & do apply LPS rust inhibitor.
Used this for saltwater marine applications & it works really well. http://www.corrosionx.com/marine.html
