Two questions

First question:

Does the blower motor seem to be really loud and constricted, kinda like a stuffy nose?

Second question:

Anyone notice the tiny light just forward of the front overhead light switch that comes on when your headlights are on, what's that for?

Newbe questions I'm sure...

Yes, it's been mentioned before. The blower seems a bit week but I don't find it loud unless it's on recirc.

The light is a neat feature. Sit in the truck at night and turn the lights on....now cover that light, and uncover it. It very dimly lights the shifter area for a really nice ambiant lighting effect. I believe the Z has this too...maybe others. It's just for effect, as well as helping a LITTLE in seeing the stick/cupholder area.

The light has been mentioned in earlier threads. It is hardly noticeable when driving in town due to street lights and all other kinds of light coming through the windows. The light really shows up when driving on rural highways and interstates. The light makes it easier to find the 12v outlet to plug the cell phone charger in, place your drink in the cup holders, and find things in the console area. You really can't appreciate how much light it puts out until you cover it with your hand on a rural road. It's really a nice feature.
