Wow, this sounds very similar to a post a couple of months ago. The screw through the fender would piss me off too. The hole is a great place for rust to start.

EDIT: Familiar because it was you.

I'm sorry your problems aren't resolved yet. Sounds like it's time to find a new dealer.

I deal with Harte Nissan in Hartford and they're pretty good. My Titan is my second vehicle from them. I believe they have a location in West Haven as well.

Undo the screw and put some caulk in it and reinstall the screw. This
should prevent rust as it will keep the air and moisture out.

Ditch the dealer and find a better one. And make them repair the body damage they inflicted on your truck.

I agree. I would break off a call to Nissan Corporate too.

I wasn't mad or trying to be whiney. I just thought it was surprising that more than one dealer would fix a loose mudflap with a screw.

Just an observation...

Our new '05 came without mudflaps - wopuldn't you know, they now have a hole/plug in the panel on the front now for when you do add the Nissan Mudflaps. Looks like now you pop in a plastic securing point and screw the mudflap (Along with the DS tape) to secure it.

Find it interesting as one of the first things noticed on the '04 we had was the front mudflaps were coming off...

They applied some black glue in mine... I was about to ask them to put in a screw but I guess I was lucky in not mentioning it.
