Storing the Titan for 3 months, any suggestions?

I will be going on travel for 3 months and I will be leaving my Titan in the garage, is there anything I should do to the truck since it will be just sitting there for all that time?

If it's only for 3 months i wouldn't really worry about it. As long as it's not exposed to the elements, you should be fine.

I would add some sta-bil to the gas tank and unhook the battery just to be on the safe side.

Another vote for fuel stabilizer + battery disconnect.

You can change your oil. This way combustion by-products aren't eating up the good additives in your oil.

Definitely. That should be all you need to do.

Would it be best just to have my wife start the truck up every weekend and let it idle for 5 minutes or so?

I would change out the oil after you park it, and again before you move it in 3 months. Fuel stabilizer in the tank, and disconnect the battery.

When you drive her again in 3 months, treat her like you're breaking her in all over again so the seals & gaskets have a chance to moisten up. After 500 or so miles, you can drive her like normal.

Sorry, I guess I'm just assuming your truck is a "she."
