Dealer back up lights

I have looked at all the archives on back up lights. Some good suggestions. Does anyone have experience with Nissan dealer installed back up lights? Does Nissan have a back up light option? Would this help warranty issues?

Chue,

Not everybody uses the truck the same way.

Are you talking about after market lights that illuminate where you are backing up? Something similar to these?

Backup lights

Being a snowmobiler that pulls the sleds around on a trailer, I have looked at different options. I have not found any that Nissan makes or sells. To be honest, I have not seen any that are specifically made for the Titan. There are plenty options that are universal to all trucks.

Individual dealers may sell products they endorce. I have not heard of these types of lights changing the warranty coverage.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Treebasher. Didn't realize that the question would produce as big a negative response as it did with some. The archives record systems from $30 to $150, repalcing stock bulbs, guys putting relays and switches in engine compartments or cabs, worry about back up light wiring being undersized if added lights are run off them unless you only use them less than a minute, and installs taking little time to the better part of a day. With all of that I just was wondering if anyone approached their dealer and raised the question about add-on back up lights from them. You answered that for me. Thanks.

And yes Vector6, it is a Northwest thing. Dark, rainy, foggy. You probably don't want to come live here.

chue, I am from the Northwest and thought about doing something similar to what you want. If you find anything that looks and works well, let me know.

if the dealer installs tham, they most likely will not void any warrenty, (if it does the dealer should cover the warrenty than)
