How thick should my rotors have been?

After THREE MONTHS of waiting, I finally got the retro-fit brake kit installed on Friday. The truck now stops like it was new again!

My old rotors had thicknesses reported to me as 25.0 and 24.9 - too thin to machine. Is this measurement in mm? Thousandth of an inch? Ane, what are they new, and what should they have been at 10,900 miles under normal wear? Just curious, so thanks for your input.

Prior to the fix, it shuddered so bad that I'd quit driving it.
