Dear CaliforniaTitan:

Thank you for your update. It is reassuring to know that your '05 has not been problematic as your '04, and your wife and you are happy with it. I appreciated you sharing the info. since I am in the process of trying to have my '04 replaced with an '05 Titan (35 days at the dealership during the first 6 months and still more problems to be worked on...). I just submitted my case to BBB Auto Line. I initially thought about going with an '05 Tundra but decided to go with another Titan. With the new Titan, I look forward to making lots of memories with my family. My wife and I are thinking about taking trips with our two little girls and our Golden Retriever, hauling a large camper trailer. It's something we've never done before, and we will start it out with rental ones before we commit ourselves to owning one. Thanks again for the info. as well as being the super moderator of this great forum.

Sincerely,

Masa

Day Two of an 05 and worth it

Just got the 05' Smoke CC LE 4x4 Off Road, and it is a beauty.....I traded in the exact same thing in a white 04. I LOVED my 04, but I think mostly the tailgate was worth the investment. I used to have to hoist my shoulder under the 04 to get it up, and now its cake!

I am not used to the "pop" I hear from the subwoofer when I start it, but man....the stereo ROCKS!!! I want to watch a dvd just so I can hear the surround sound!

I got the bed extender, bed divider, billet grille, and piece of mind.....

I agree with the other member who said it was a tighter ride. I think this rides like a "Caddy", but its a truck. Wierd.....my last one had exactly the same things, but it had more of a "truck" ride. When I drive in this one (although I have only 70 miles on is so far), I can't help but think that this is what an Escalade must ride like.

I'm going to Vegas this weekend to put some mileage on it (as well as have some fun), and then I'm going to start towing my 25' Travel Trailer. With the new diff with fins, I won't have to worry so much about the fluid and rear end.

I'm happy so far, and I hope it continues!! She sure is a classy looking truck!

How did you come out on the financing? Did they give you full trade-in value or wholesale?

Thanks,
DT

The only thing I lost was the payments along the way.

They gave me the most possible (what they will sell it for), and I can't complain.

Awesome dealership....Mossy Oceanside.
