It's A Done Deal !! Nissan Is Building Me A New 05 LE!!!

It's over!
It took awhile to Finalize a deal with Nissan that I was happy with!
Things got heated on the phone afew times, but I held my ground and prevailed in the end!
For those who do not know the history that lead up to this you can find all of my threads on it.

I am very happy with the end result, which is Nissan is going to build me a new LE with the exact options as my old LE, the one they are replacing!
I would accept nothing less!!
They are RED Flaging the new truck to speed things up. The order will be put in Jan. 05 to be built in Feb. 05 for a late Feb or March delivery.

The new truck will be checked and watched for quality control as it gose through the line !
I have faith that I will be getting a very good truck this time around!

Here's the best part of the deal for me, I was able to negotiate in this deal my right to hang onto and DRIVE my current LE untill my new 05 comes in, which could be 2 two 3 months from now.
I will not be charged for this usage!
So in the end when my new truck comes in late FEB. or March I will trun over my old Titan with around 25 to 30k miles on it for my new 05 and pay nothing.

I would just like to take sometime to thank all of the members that supported me on this! I appreciate it alot!

Thanks Deep.

If it's true, and they (Nissan) stick to their word and follow through, good for you man. Very happy for you! This is all you ever wanted for your $$$$$, a truck where everything works everyday.

Chris.... It has not been an easy road to tow.
Things would go well and then we would hit a snag. They wanted me to take the money and give back the truck, but the money that they were going to give me did not even add up to my down payment for the truck pluss monthly payments ect.
There was about a 8k differents so there was noway I was going to take the money and walk.

It was very hard to get them to build me a new truck, but there are no 05's in my color with my options built or were going to be built so there was no other choice but to build one.
They wanted me to switch to another color because they could find me a truck right away with little delay, but we really like the Deepwater color, I ordered my truck back in Dec of 04 and waited afew months for it to be built because it was the only color me and the wife really liked.
So I wanted the same thing that I ordered in 04 and that was that

I will say this Nissan did do the right thing and took care of me!
They did go that extra mile for me!
They did not have to build me a new truck! The law says replacement of truck with one that is in stock on the dealers lot. And it's there choice to either give you a truck or the money not your's.

I think what really help me out on this is how bad I was treated at my old dealership. They were without a dought the worst dealership that I have ever seen, and thats being kind!
I'm glade that your new 05 is lot better then your 04 so far. And that your very happy with it!
Hope it gives you many trouble free miles!

Deep.

homer... Thanks for your support!!!!
It is great news!

The best advice I could give someone who has to go through this is that you must stay calm when talking to these people.
But also you must stay firm in your views.

Thanks again!

Deep.

I'm just amazed you got someone at Nissan to return your calls.

I'll bet your regional specialist's name isn't Collette at extension 8458. Somehow she got a job at Nissan without the knowledge of how to use a telephone.

More power to you! Glad to hear you're happy with the outcome.

TruckNitz... Yes it is Deepwater, And it is a good deal for me.
It was not easy to deal with these people, they can be hard nosed if you know what I mean.
They are not very easy to talk to.

I am taking a chance on an 05 in hopes that my luck has changed!

Thanks for your support!

Deep.

SAENole... They are bad at calling you back! Untill you go to the top!
Collette was the first lady I was dealing with back in April of 04 when I had problems with the truck, in fact I did talk to her about the RF problem in my LE back in FEB. 04 also.

I had to go 2 levels up from her to there Boss who's name I will not say.
I got good results then! And it took about 30 days to move the case to a Arbitrator. They were very good at calling me back! They always retruned my calls that same day! So keep trying!
