Sorry......must have a meaning with your name???? A friend of mine drove one block home at 2 Am on his Harley..did not tie his helmit strap on....an owl hit him on the head....the bike landed on his leg.muffler side on him....quite a burn!!
I hit a stupid pheasant in a 78 mustang that took out the grill, fan and radiator.I wonder if your owl will taste as good as my pheasant?
Today has not been good to the Titan from the look of the threads.
Glad your O.K.
Damm, first thought was a small deer. And I thought owl's could see so well...
I feel your pain, I remember how I felt when I hit a big ole buck.
I was lucky though I managed to get er slowed down to about 40 and it would have been alright since all it did was dent the bumper but it broke the fog light out so I had to get that fixed. No way to get around having to get a whole new bumper. The deer didn't fair so well.
If i would have been in a car I'm sure it would have been much worse. Thumbs up on REAL Steel bumpers and not plastic ones with foam in them.
It seems a creature that weighs hundreds of pounds less did more damage to your rig then a deer that outweighs it by hundreds...

I'm guessing the owl didn't make it.. although I don't see any blood or feathers.
I hit it at about 60 mph... the bird didn't have a chance. Not wanting any trouble with the DNR I left the bird (dead) in the ditch.
This is actually the second big bird I've hit with the Titan. I hit another about a month ago, at night. I'm thinking it was an owl as well but not as big as this one. It hit the A-pillar on the passanger side (no damage). Didn't stop for that one, no flashlight with me at the time.
Here's the story behind this one. I actually saw it on a fence post ahead on the left side of the road. When the car in front of me passed it, the bird got up and flew up in the air about 15 feet and then just made a B-line for me. I thought it would clear the top of the truck by a long way but nope, it dropped quickly and bang.
I hit the other bird in nearly the same area, I think they have it in for me...
Man thats bad. I hit a bat once in a van didnt do any damage but it took a good few minutes at the car wash to clean it up. Uggghhh. Nasty mess. At least your safe and no people were hurt.

I hit a grouse (about the size of a large pheasant) with my first Titan. It spider webbed the paint on the driver's side of the bumper and broke the fog light. I've hit birds with my Focus and it doesn't have a mark on it. Course I also dented the hood on the first Titan by just closing the hood, hmmmm, thin metal me thinks.

Who would have ever known it would have done that much damage...
Guess I better watch out for that owl that's living in my backyard...
Tree - just a quick note, BVStone, Deepwater and I are all MN Titan owners. We're planning a little "get together" in March. You in?
