oil dip stick loose

My oil dip-stick sits very loose in the tube on my titan...I am worried that it might come loose and get dirt in the oil. My tranny stick is bolted in to keep it from working loose....anyone else have a loose fitting oil dip stick?

Some people say my dipstick is loose but I don't think they are talking about my truck.

No wonder its flacid...look how she is holding it. Is she scared of it...I guess maybe she should be considering the length of your (dip) stick. Either that or she just doesn't want to get her hand dirty.

I specifically told her not to touch the part that gets inserted that it has yucky stuff on it.

Seriously jasonwabc,

Your rubber may have fallen off your shaft thus making your dipstick not fit as tight. It could've slipped off the first time you used it. The rubber is to keep fluids from escaping. See attached thumbnail.
