Thumbs up works great....

So far my 05 sonar system works fine. It has even beeped when I back up within 6' of a bush......or if a person walks behind it while in reverse. It helps me alot and especially backing in the night. No false beeps yet. I hope it's simple on youurs smoothtitan..let us know what you find. Good luck.

Just out of curiosity, do you guys with the factory rear sonar have digital display in the dash, just left of the trip meter that shows a truck and an object with a few sonar waves in between?

I as because I haven't driven a Titan that has them and found this nifty little display in the dash upon doing the system check via holding the trip meter reset/toggle down while turning on the ignition.

I am also curious to know how much this kit was at the dealership to have installed as well is by itself.

Thanks for the info.

I also know about that icon from the diagnostics display mode. I have the rear sonar and that vehicle icon does NOT appear! I wonder how to get it to activate?

where exactly is the rear sonar located. is it in the bumper itself or is it just above the bumper? are there more than one?

Fixed my sonar, all i did was push in every sensor from inside the bumper and they all clicked. I checked it in reverse and it worked.
