fog light install help!!

i am trying to install the switch on the inside and can't find the best/only way to run the main power and split power from the switch through the fire wall. does anyone know how is best to run it? thanks

I found it was easiest to use a wire fish (coat hanger...) and go through the hood release cable area. I ran 2 signal wires through to the relays without any problems. What you use to power that--that is entirely up to you...I ran mine off of the seldom used illumination wire (...figuring if I want the fogs or lights in the back on I would at least have the running lights on). I *think* the illumination wire was blue with a red stripe, but you would want to do some searching (on this forum) before cutting into anything.

I ran my fog light switch wire also through the hood release area under the the drivers dash. It has a rubber grament which I used a metal cloths hanger to push the wires i needed through to operate the lights. the power wire I ran under the carpet to the center console in order to have power to the switch only when the engine is running. I really hate to be driving behind someone who has their rear bed light on. so this way works for me.

thanks for the info. i found the rubber grommet under the carpet/rubber--perfect! i ended up running back to the battery as i like to have the possibility of running the lights without the key/car being on.
