I was cruising down the street when this loud 4 banger (intake sound followed by the exhaust note zoomed by) knowing me i proceeded to follow, i recalled that these Civic SI's run like a mid seven second 0-60 mph and a mid to high 15 sec 1/4 mile, so i tagged along and we came up to a light, i hit the brakes and gas at the same time just to show him i was game, he answered back witha loud fart can sound, i have vdc on, my eyes on the light, then vrooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm i take off hes beside me for the first 20-30 feet thats when i stomp pedal to the metal and surprisingly i beat him by id say 3-4 cars up to 90mph (i know, i kinow i shouldnt have done it in the street, im sorry, im sorry) when we got to the other light he just looked over at me and said youre lucky i didnt spray on you, i immediately responded you're lucky i didnt punch it all the way, he just laughed and made a right hand turn, i felt good even though i did lie about the not punching it part, but hey; so now i definately know im running mid to low 15 second 1/4, hopefully low 15's considering he had a bit of mods. I just had to tell my encounter.

I don't think he's bragging so much about the impressiveness of the car he beat, as he is the joy of beating one of the "fast and ignorant". I love blowing past the knuckle heads around here with their "civic nation" cars, and leaving them behind from red lights. Don't always do it, but it is tempting when they have their window down sharing their music (?) with the space station and have the hat brim off to the side.

Amen. Isn't it tempting to do it, though?
Especially because nobody EVER said, "Wow, you got a Camry!!"

WoW! Titan takes out a Civic - how about a Corolla or Sentra next?
Well you do know that the civic SI and titan are doing the same 0-60 times so it's a drivers race. BTW the SI only has 160hp and the new ones 200hp.
Now sentra se-r with it's 175hp does 0-60 in 7.2 seconds that the same time that some auto mags clocked the titan. So it's not really taking advantage or anything. It could have easily went the other way.

There was a post not to long ago about TrucK Trend lowering the TiTans 0 to 60 from 7.2 to 6.7.
It took graduation from the "School Of Hard Knocks" (Marine Corps), with an associates in "Combat Vet" from Fallujia University to open the door to my dream job.

If you can read in english, thank a Marine.

Well I do agree it is tempting to roll over those annoying little cars with the "coffe can" tail pipes, and big arse wings on the back - sometimes I'd like to pile up next to them and ask them "what the hell were you thinking when you bought all that $h!t?" - some of them are just damn funny looking.
As far as the Titan rolling it up on my Ram Hemi - You Bet - that is the one thing I miss about my Titan is the speed and my dual flowmaster - but soon to come.
