Made a Lexus Owner MAD

This is funny.... I was at a light the other day and needed to get into the left hand turn lane, I looked over to see what was next to me and it was this Lexus SC model (i think these things have around 300+HP) anyway.. I started off kinda fast put on my blinker and this guy sped up. (now this just pisses me off) so I gave it some more juce and sped up to take him...he does the same, we continued to battle back and forth untill I gradually moved over in his lane... making him slow down so I didnt run him over... but it was funny though.. ((he couldnt pass me)) once we got to the next light he stopped at a green and looked at me with his jaws a flappin and I gave him a nice he then drove off all pissed...

just thought Id share that with you all

I hate people like that. Do what I do in cases like that. Once you know he's seen your signal.....weather he speeds up or not, just slowly move over. He'll move..they always do. Especially since you're alot bigger.

Depending on what engine was in that SC, I'm not sure it was a kill as much as instilling the fear of God in him. You are quick and bigger, but I think most SC's I'm familiar with run in the 14's, so I don't think you could really take him heads up. BTW, putting some fear in folks like that ain't a bad thing, but just easing over would have done the same thing.

Considering the following:

Lexus SC430
0-60 5.9 seconds
0-1/4 mile: 14.4 seconds
Top Speed: 156 MPH
Power: 300 hp, 325lbs torque

You didn't do too bad. The worst thing about cars of that stature is the drivers usually don't know how to drive them otherwise Titan's no match(accel. wise).

Without even looking to see if you live in So Cal I knew you must have been from around here. People see that signal go on and they immediately try to shut the door on you, especially on the freeways.

Keep up that attitude and you just might meet the right person on the street. See whether it's worth trying to be the bully because you're bigger.

While I certainly agree with the point of not bullying others if they are not going to do the right thing and gonna speed up purposely to cut you off just to be spiteful, azz wipes only doing it to bully me than I will use my size to my advantage... I just suppose I'm not scared

I don't know about this. Please fight the temptation to not be pushed around.

I know it's really hard sometimes but we shouldn't let our ego drive our truck around. Now a days we cannot assume that the other guy behind the wheel isn't some nut job with a gun who'd go nuts and take you out. Just get in behind him let him go bye-bye. He ain't worth risking it all, believe me.

I've seen too many road rage incidents in my line of work, it's just stupid what can result from them.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Well I have two things to say about this.
1) If a driver is courteous enough to put on a signal, I usually will slow to let them in. Sometimes people are a little confused about where they need to turn or whatever, so why not help them out.
2)On the other hand, as another poster mentioned, some drivers stuff their vehicle in there and then give the single *blink* like, ha ha I'm so nice I signaled. It is really aggravating for someone to coast up to the 'front of the line' on the left and then jump in just to get there a little faster. Are they better than anyone else? some special reason they don't have to wait their turn?

People do things in their cars that they would never do in other situations, because they are isolated and feel 'safe'. Would you go to the movies and boldly walk up to a gap in the line and just cut in? Of course not, because you would probably be confronted.

i'm with you caltitan--without even looking where he was from i would have guessed cali. i'm in LA and you better keep your attitude in check because getting flipped off is one thing, getting shot is another. both for cutting in on someone and speeding up to let someone in. you can never go wrong showing the love--even if they are in the wrong--something about a 'golden rule'!!!

ps. gtbigup01--are those stock chrome wheels? do you have some pics you could post? are they chrome stock or chromed? merry Jesusmas to you all!
