Question Titan 4x4 SE KC in the sand, Glamis? (no off-road pkg)

I am taking my 4x4 KC and 5th wheel out to Glamis this weekend. For all who don't know Glamis, CA is like 40 square miles of sand dunes. I have never been but have family that goes quite often.

Will my truck be able to go out on the sand to "play"? I know to lower the air pressure in the tires but just how capable is this stock truck?

I don't have my own ATV or gear so I will bumming rides from friends/family.

Will anyone from titantalk be out there Dec. 30- Jan. 2?

Thanks,
Loran

I will be out there in my 2wd kc.
I air down to about 15 psi front, 12 in rear. I haven't been burried in Glamis yet, but had to get pulled out up at Pismo when I slammed on the brakes to avoid an accident. Dug in pretty good.

You should have NO problems in 4x.

Especially after all this rain, are you kiddin me? That sand will be a light hard-pack for about a week. It is supposed to rain there thru Thursday. You can probably keep it in 2Hi all the time if you air down. No prob.

We will be camped off the East side of Gecko Rd. at Pad 2.5.

What color is your Titan?

BTW, its a bit more like 400 sq. miles.
