I will ALWAYS use a good quality injector cleaner in all my vehicles and motorcycle. I really don't care what the manual says in this regard. All good shops use good cleaners like BG44K. Toyota includes the BG44K as part of their maintenance service at certain intervals. I think maybe Nissan is just leary of people dumping in the el cheapo crap instead of the quality stuff, so maybe it's a CYA measure on their part, or they just want make some $$ off ya later on when they have to clean your injectors and fog your upper engine!

I always use a good quality gasoline, and have still noticed better (sometimes dramatically better) performance when adding BG44 on past vehicles; especially if I've gone say 10K or more w/o adding any treatment. Haven't used it on the Titan yet, plan on adding it soon. Never had any issues with it damaging O2 sensors either.

Oh, I'm not for or against injector cleaner just making an observation. My not having a problem in my Frontier after 100,000 miles may be in part because I don't live in the city so I do a fair amount of highway driving.
I check the air in my tires every saturday. Others never do, to each his own.

I'll use my own FI cleaner when needed. Nissan soesn't recommend it....probably because they offer their own expensive FI cleaning and I would never have it done again. They did it on my Maxima and it ran like crap afterwards. Personally, I thing todays fuel has enough detergents in them but...I keep using the STP cleaner with fine results.

Naw I hate buying tires. ( When I traded in the Frontier with 104,000 miles it still had the original set of (General) tires on it. "As god is my witness."

Aw Crap!

Another thing I should start doing, checking the air in the tires every week. Suppose I should do the wife's and kid's tires too.

Thanks Squid.
