1st fill

[color=DarkRed]

Actually, the 2nd fill, but since I don't know how the dealership filled the tank I did not check mileage until this 2nd tank full. I stopped filling both tankfulls when the auto click shut off. I used 87 octane Shell; I assume the tires have 35psi from dealership; no splash problem; I do some town driving (but no gridlock here)--but mostly highway, which, around here, far from any interstates, usually means 50-60 mph.
Result: 17.8 mph

Glad to here your getting good mileage as most other 05' owners. Just my .02 cents, but shell isn't the best fuel in the world. Every vehicle I have ever owned seemed to love Chevron gas. They seemed to of run better and I always have gotten the best gas mileage using Chevron. The worst fuel ever, 7-11. My old Toyota truck would average 19-20 mpg on Chevron, 7-11 fuel I would be lucky to break into the low 13's.

Be sure and leave some feedback on newnissansdotcom!

I don't know what brand 7-11 pumps, but if it's not a major known brand, I always pass those convenience stores too.
The only reason I use Shell is that I used to get good results with Texaco, which I was told, since the merger, now is pumped through Shell. I also used to favor Mobil, but am I getting Mobil or Exxon since they merged? Hard to trace the flow of all this petrol merging business.

If a station is selling gas so bad that you get 33% worse gase milage then normal, I would have reported it immediately. They sure as hell could not have been meeting EPA regulations.
