cold knock problems...

Actually, more of a tick than a knock. Im kinda pissed about this one cuz I dealt with this problem with my last 3 vehicles ( 2 GM and one Ford). Now my Nissan seems to have made the list. Anyone else experience this? I owned a 2002 Pontiac Trans Am Ram Air, which has an aluminum block, and it really made noise. Perhaps its just the nature of aluminum engines to be a bit on the "noisy" side. Any thoughts?

C'mon...certainly someone has experienced this. I'd like to think I'm not the only Titan owner who has.

Hey maestro, first of all a BIG ol welcome to Titantalk. Talking about the alumium engine block to me it's seems they make an awful lot of noise, like while checking the filter for leaks, up under it. And for the tick, I don't know
my truck need the TSB for the noise on left side of engine that intermits, I printed that TSB 2004 Titan and Armada Knocking Noise from Engine Area. Do you have the link to http://www.infinitihelp.com/Ownershi.../NTB04-124.htm
