Question new member and utili-track removal question

hi, new member here. i've been a guest for a few days after buying my titan last thursday 12/30/04. i am going to use this truck for work (i can hear some of you cringing) but that is what a pick up is for me. i am a builder and am looking at a couple of ladder racks... the short ones won't do. i need over the cab to haul around 24ft. walkboards and long ladders. i have the utili-track and like it but would need to remove and then reinstall the top rack on each side to accomodate the mounting system for the racks... have any of you removed and reinstalled the utili-track? i didn't know if the retaiage system is captive of if a nut is going to drop down into nowhere. thanks!

The front track has captive nuts, I'm sure the sides do also.

thanks... i was worried about hearing a sickening clunk and then a perpetual rattle by dropping a nut. now to decide which rack. i have used both kargomaster and system one in the past. i like both. the kargo master is steel tubing and system one is extruded aluminum. i think the aluminum will look better.
