Unhappy Any 04's left?

I wonder how the selection is left on the 04 Titans. We might ask Nissan to buy back the truck because we had that a/c leak in it and the carpet got all wet and it smelt like meldew and mold. Well, the dealer replaced the carpet (VERY POOR INSTALL ) and said they cleaned the water up. Well, that moldy smell is coming back agian and we can't stand it. Gives me horrible headaches. I can't seem to find a spot on the carpet that is wet but I can smell it! Anyway, hopefully I can find another 04 like mine because I'd really had to pay 2k-3k more for a 05. I wonder sometimes if I bought the right truck, it was close between the Serria and the Titan.

Just bought my 4X2 SE CC with Pop package, big tow for 26K OTD here in Florida...Various dealers around here had some to choose from.

Good Luck!

I just bought an 04 XE CC December 21st. Think there was one other 04 on the lot, and it was a KC.

Was at my dealer yesterday looking around they still have about 5 left, I would say selection is pretty slim for the options you want. Some were XE's and some SE's.

hey Oktex, I bought from Davis-Moore in Wichita last week and they still have a few 04s that they are trying to move. Among them was a Smoke LE CC 4x4. I think they have a few KCs too. Might give them a call or use the locator feature on the nissanusa.com website to see what their inventory is of 04s.

Are you certain they changed all the padding and carpet? I had this odor in my Mustang and after it was changed, the smell was gone. Because I hate to have anyone touch my cars, I changed the rug myself and returned the old one to the dealer and let them credit any mechanic they wanted to pay for his time "working" on it.

I bet they tried to save some $$$ and didn't order new padding and thought they could let it dry out.. or maybe they didn't fix the a/c leak all the way it is still dripping?
