Sterring Wheel Fade

Has anyone had the leather steering wheel fade (color coming off)???

the color is coming off a little right above the stereo volume control. I thought it was a speck of something and went to rub it off and some more of the grayish color came off, leaving a darker base. I'm going to wait for the steering wheel to disintegrate before I take it in.

I haven't noticed that, just the coloring coming off from the leather. The dealer ordered me a new steering wheel under warranty.

hmm, haven't had the steering wheel leather fading, but do have a nasty peel on the volume control.

so this is covered under warranty??? My steering wheel is fading bad. Thanks
