Eclipse AVN2454 Install Questions...Tips?
I'm installing my avn2454 wednesday and have a few questions...
1. Do they have special harnesses for the RF pkg equipped system? 2. If not how do I jump the factory amp out? 3. Do I need an antenna adapter or will the factory antenna plug directly in? 4. Anything I should know when doing this? It's going in a KC with the rockford fosgate pkg. I'm no longer using the OEM subwoofer. I'm replacing it with a pair of JL 12w3v2 subs in a custom enclosure under the rear seats powered by a PhoenixGold Ti600 amp. I'd appreciate any tips.

Do you plan on keeping the stock amp? Either way Metra makes a harness kit that can be bought at www.crutchfield.com Very nice unit by the way you will be happy with it. Don't worry about mounting it, its not a big deal you will use the stock mounting brackets on the old radio to bolt right up. Did you get the XE bezel? You will not need a special antenna adpater. Give me more details on your plans. thanks
