any split-bench LEs out there?

I'm looking for a Crew, LE, with a Split-Bench. I'm guessing that most LEs are captains. Anybody out there have a split LE? Was it hard to find? Thanks.

i believe all LEs only have captain's chairs.

Serously though, this was a potential deal-breaker for me because I really wanted leather this time around. I work out of my vehicle (sales) and a bench makes life a lot easier. Plus, something about bucket seats in a truck just ain't right. Just kidding guys, friend of mine just bought an '04 KC with the buckets and they're real nice. Probably would have never even considered the Titan if he hadn't bought one. Hell of a great value, these trucks.

I have an 05 brochure, I'll check it tonight and see if there are any pics of the leather bench. The website is still showing 04 interiors in the now discontinued sand/steel. FYI, I've not seen a leather bench on a new truck yet. Would be interesting to check it out.

if that is the case with 05s, use nissan's vehicle locator to see what is available from the dealers around your location. i think you can have one made for you if you can wait.

The vehicle locator doesn't offer that level of detail when describing dealer inventory. Seems like split bench in an LE is gonna be a rare find and even more rare with the exact color and options I'm looking for. I pretty much figured on that. I was hoping to aviod a special order situation because I think it gives you less room to negotiate but looks like that may be the only way.

I ordered an 05 LE 4x4 Big Tow and Off Road with the leather bench seat option early December, and it arrived from the factory before Christmas. My dealer found an unsold one destined for another state and had it re-directed to Colorado from the factory. I like the height of the fold down console for resting my arm on while driving. There is plenty on storage, and there is a 12v plugin inside. There is also a dual cupholder that swings out at the bottom of the dash area, and also two other 12v plugins on the dash. I like the arrangement.

My wife and I played that song many times after we got our truck with the bench. We also sung it while we were considering the bench vs. the LE. If the LE would have had the bench option a year ago, we would be driving an LE.

And it is really nice to be able to seat 6 people in the truck when needed!

My '02 Ram had the bench seat and I liked it a lot but the only bad thing about the bench seat is that there are no vents that go directly to the back. In the hot Texas summer my back passengers were not gettting a whole lot of air. Just something to consider. In a perfect world the bench would also have vents to the back. If they did I would have been all over it for sure. Toyota put the vents to the back in the frame around the back doors. That would solve all the issues.

It's great to hear that the bench in LE trim for '05 is a reality. If you have a digital camera, post some pics of the interior if you can. I'd really like to see the bench in leather. The pic of the bench on the Nissan website is pretty weak. Big thanks if you're able to do it.

there is a new post about a guy who just gopt a red le crew with bench per his sig, masybe we can get him to post up an interior pic....
