removing jack

hey everyone, please dont flame me but i absolutly have no clue how to remove the jack located under the rear seat in my KC, in the manual it states to unscrew it, but thats it, i dont see anything i can unscrew, anybody else have trouble getting it out, or am i the only dumb person here lol, thanks for your help

Unscrew the jack itself, as if you were lowering the jack. It uses compression to stay in the bracket.

No dumb questions here, just some dumb answers.

I keep a stubby screwdriver in the truck for this purpose. Took me almost 15 minutes to figure the darn thing out. Of course the 1st step was to remove the spare tire and lock it in the bed knowing full well that you only get flat tires in the rain when you have your good clothes on or its freezing cold with a wind chill of below 0.

ha ha I had to post a thread asking the exact same thing----that jack is small, I repalced it a 3 ton lever jack
