Lightbulb Recall and TSB compilation list

would some of our moderators or some of you old school Titan boys please list all the recalls and TSB's on one complete list for all of those who are new to Titan land and have an 04. having them all over the place is impossible to catalog.

clarification--does a TSB get paid for by nis or is that just telling the tech exactly what to do and the consumer still pays for it?

thanks guys--you're the best.

Nissan pays for any repairs (including TSB related) as long as you are still covered under the factory 3/36 warranty (unless you purchased extended coverage of course).

There are two recalls that I am aware of:

1) Rear seat belts in KCs
2) AT column shifter

These do not apply to all MY04 Titans. Depends on build date. Mine was built in April '04 so both recalls applied.

The only TSB that has affected me is the brake shudder and the dlr took care of that as a warranty repair.

If under warranty and your Titan has the problem Nissan pays.

Technical Service Bulletins are "how to" articles for the dealer's technicians. They also spec. new parts and techniques.

you guys are fast.

I still think the moderators should put this recall and TSB compilation list on this site. Not everyone who is here or who joins as a new member is aware of www.nissanhelp.com. I also suggested this a few days ago and got shrugged off.

The reason I suggested it, is because I see all of the other competing truck web forums have it listed on their site.

At the very least a sticky could be put at the top of the forum that directs you to go to www.nissanhelp.com.

How about it Moderators?

this was exactly why i started this thread!!! i was hoping once it was done that it could be posted at the top with the rest with this title so new titan owners could find stuff they might not know about right away like it was for me. it could also be a post that is updated or just a straight link to 'nissanhelp' if that is the offical updated link.
thanks

No one blew you off, it just didn't get done right away because I didn't get around to it with all the other BS that's been going on around here lately, sorry. The sticky with www.nissanhelp.com and

http://www.nissanhelp.com/Bulletins/Model.htm

has been posted at the top of this forum as requested.

It's there. Go to the Titan Problems Forum, it's the first sticky. It belongs there not in general discussion.

That my friend is 130 lbs of pure bred, Fawn colored Doberman.(Talon Xavier)(Or as I call him Bubba)I got him from a couple in Oklahoma(Thus Bubba) who breed pure white dobermans.$4000.00 each.
His Father was traditional black and his mother was pure white with blue eyes.
Talon has a silver ghost like appearence with green eyes.
And yes he loves footballs, they just don't last long.
