The service manager and I went out on the lot and tried all the Titans and all would go off too easy. Then we tried the Altima with the same switch and you can't make it happen.

I reported it to the OSD several months ago and so far I'm the only complaint so nothing has been investigated.

I feel this is a dangerous safety defect and everyone should report it to both the OSD and Nissan.

It should take more force to rotate the switch barrel , the foglight switch is hard to find without turning off your headlights, the headlights shouldn't be on the stalk that is constanly used in driving-move it to the other side, and please put an indicator light on the instrument panel to tell me when the foglights are on!!!

I found out how it happens to me. With the left hand and using the 2 finger flick on the high beam stalk pretty much shuts them off all the time.

Operator error.

Thankfully mine is nice and tight.I tried to turn them off with just
a finger(sitting still of course) and I couldn't make It happen.Mine
requires a two finger grip.I am however constantly turning on my
wipers when reaching for the gear shift lever.

Good...I don't feel like a total retard!

I've done this a number of times. The switch is simply too sensitive to input and turns itself off.

I might try that o-ring trick. Not big on leaving it at a dealer for 5 days.

Thumbs up standard switch is the problem....not auto switch

Just a little update........those with auto-on lights can put the switch in manual mode if the switch is loose...then it would take three??? clicks to turn the lights off. With the standard light switch it is only one click and then the parking lights only are on.......I beleive these are the ones having problems.....SE but not LE. Still not one accident with the o-ring!!

Mines LE and one click from manual goes to parking lights them one more click to auto then off. Either way your one click from no headlights.

you guys have this problem.
Mine and others were delivered with the lights adjusted just a little bit high.
Had them properly aimed and adjusted and 90% of the lights flashed at me
went away. Lights are still the best I have ever had on a truck after adjustment so go get them aimed. As far as us blinding people when we are
behind them this won't help. I drive a miata and almost all 4x4 trucks do
this and the best thing you can do is stay back a little bit at a stop light
when possible. Please remember a lit up Titan 2 ft from the back bumper
of a small car is a pretty intimidating sight. It doesn't bother me because I
understand the truck drivers are not doing it on purpose but it might scare
some people. Something to think about.
