If its an XE, the previous owner changed the wheels.

That is the one-piece front bumper from an XE.
If its an LE, the previous owner changed the mirrors, door handles, rear bumper, front bumper, emblems. Not likely...

If he has Power adjustable mirrors, than its an LE ( or SE with LE wheels).
My guess is its an XE.

Stick, I like those fogs better too. Where did you get them?
I bubbled my lenses on the stock lamps when I put the blue Xenon bulbs in. Now I need to replace. Some aftermarket fogs that are better and cheaper than $150 for OEM sounds good to me.

what are the particular dif. between the LE and SE? i have the 6 cd (standard in all?) captains charis with the middle front seat (with the folding back rest--turns into the best designed 'storage' ever) and all the seats are the 2 tone neoprene (the best fabric for seats ever--leather too hot and cold--hard to repair--fabric--too scratchy for me) power windows, locks, fob, bed extender.

it is a one piece front...

whats your best guess? i could post some pics later...

Hey Stick,

Can't beat So Cal, can you... I was up in Big Bear yesterday, Of course no problems getting around. I counted at least 3 crashes on the way up and one on the way down. We were also up there in Dec. 30-31 for some snowboarding. I did notice more Titans yesterday than the Dec trip. I decided not to put the chains on yesterday and was pleasantly surprised how the Titan took to the snow. I knew the Off Road Package would come in handy.

See you around http://www.titantalk.com/forums/newreply.php

it was seriously amazing...i kept telling my wife 'there's one! there's one!' around my area the most seen truck is probably the dodge then ford then titan. so to see so many up at big bear in one spot was cool.

they are getting a SERIOUS DUMPING right now. i will be going up on tues. to mess around--should be another 3 feet this week!!!!! maybe i'll see you up there--flash your lights if you see me!!!

I'm going up agian this Saturday to Snow Summit. I'm in a white 4X4 Crew Cab with the Off Road Package and maybe the same air freshener. Hopefully 18 will be open again, the back way takes to long.

I was up in Big Bear when I was in Cali for the Rose Bowl (go TEXAS). Had a 2005 Jeep GC rental vehicle. Saw quite a few Titans...chaining up. I went on without chains and did fine.

Having had skiied places like Courchevel, France and Zermatt, Switzerland, I can say with no hesitation that SNOW SUMMIT SUCKS!

(no offense intended).

i usually go up 38 if i think there is going to be bad weather/traffic because the front feeds all the cities (arrowbear, arrowhead, big bear, etc.)

i'll keep my nose out the window for your 'freshener'!!

you are right, most cali drivers only get the 2wd (like myself) because unless you go offroad (which i wouldn't with my mainstay truck--i would buy a beater jeep to do that!) there is really no point in the 4wd. you only would really use it 1 month out of the year and thats only if the weather is bad enough for chains. (which it hasen't been for 3 years) i grew up in the midwest with jeeps and hated the 'cheap' 'thin' feel of them (not to mention the rough highway ride!) but they are a great rental!!!

saw some great lifted 4x titans up in big bear and 'hey mom look--no chains!!!

The 2005 GC is the best riding small SUV I have ever been in. It's a quantum leap over the old one. It's a nice ride. I wouldn't trust one past the warranty though. The dash is very plasticky, as you mention. Still way too small inside also.

no offense taken. after skiing brek, mammoth, vail, and a ton o' others, snow summit ranks about 205th. BUT, it is only 2 hours from my house, has a mile long run, some decent black diamonds, and when it has good snow (which is the key) it is definately worth doing!!

bummer. you got out just before these last 2 storms hit. look on the weather channel, we are getting almost more rain in a short amount of time then any other time in cali history! so needless to say, great for the ski resorts, bites for the drains and beach rental places , bites for you and your vaca, but IF you come out again, maybe you can roll with me!
