Not Trying to outdo you

Just got back from Mammoth myself. It dumped!!! Had to do a little shoveling this morning, but the truck (4X4) handled like a dream in some extreme weather.
Here's a few pics.

well, if the weather pattern holds for another month and does not warm up, then you can look forward to having a great pile o' snow. you will have to keep updated in the weather web to see how temps are for that time. as of now--should be awesome unless a hot spell moves through.

i have friends that live on maui and molekai--some of the best maranade on earth!!!

mahalo and aloha!!!

Yeah there was a lot of snow up there on Dec 29th at Snow Summit, and that was before the latest dumpings. The funniest (or scariest) part was all the people getting stuck in the parking lot. I saw more than a few people gunning it to get unstuck and tire chains go flying.

I suppose I could come back, I have some friends that live about a block off of Hollywood Blvd, near 101/Highlands. But I think I'm gonna go somewhere I can drive to if I go again, it's about 8 hours from here to the NM mountains if you go 80-85 the whole way, which in West Texas is a piece of cake. The drive across LA and up the 330 to Arrowbear is not something I want to repeat just to get to the snow. In Taos, I can get a ski in shack.

it is a one piece front...

whats your best guess? i could post some pics later...
I would say you have an XE model. The one piece front bumper, black handles and mirrors, and no door moldings. Looks like someone just put on the LE wheels. Check your spare tire, I bet it is a 17" steel wheel.

D@MN!! Your cabin is WAY close to Summit. Did you guys rent that for the week, or is it yours? Looks like a real nice place.

I can't afford to go to Mammoth. Summit is getting bad enough, $59 for a lift ticket!!!!

(about XE)
Good ideas, but if Stick doesn't have power mirrors (which unless the black caps were changed from chrome) than its an XE.

Good buy for $19,500!! for your CC with 1500 miles. That's 'barely used.' Thats less than I paid for my KC XE new in Feb. Looking at the 05 XE's, the truck's price is holding pretty well, though I thought I got taken when the 04 XE KC's in Dec. were going for $18,500.

Stick, if you have a middle seat up front, then you have bench. I think the captains chairs are only if you have the center floor console and gated shifter.
I have the front bench too, and I love that big arm rest and having the column shifter instead. I can write easily while I drive, if I am taking someone's info on the phone.

I was in Mammoth with my dad. Snow kept piling up on the truck and all the rest of the unfortunate cars. It drove wicked in the storm. Sometimes when we were stopped, I could feel the wind blowing against the truck, but the truck wasn't moving(I was the only one in the truck), and I saw other cars almost get knocked over.

the cabin belongs to friends we use for free whenever (4 bed, 6 person spa, pool table room, 60 in. plasma, 3 car garage--yeah its ROUGH!!)

now here is what i don't understand--my front seat is 3-piece, with 2 captains chairs on each side of the middle section. is that what you have?

that center console config. is the best! i love it! actually i like this better than the top end package without it.

ps--on the 'trim' section on the door it says 'P' is that 'preferred'? what does that mean?
i have the 2 tone neoprene. is there something else that goes with that?

i thought one of the best parts of driving the titan was that it is the first vehicle that didn't even feel like it was going up the mountain--it felt like flat ground... CRAZY!!! it is incredibly stable!
