Hopefuly someone can help me, I purchased a 04 LE and did not notice until later that I did not get the sticker that is posted on the window listing all of the equipment. I normally keep this information for resale a few years down the road. Is there any way that I can retrieve this information?

It is called a "Monroney Sticker" and must be on the vehicle when purchased. Try demanding it from the dealer.

It is required by law. They have to have it on the vehicle. They will either produce the sticker or reorder one from Nissan for you. Or you can have them fined or arrested possibly, I don't know what kind of penalty is involved with not having a Monroney Sticker on a new vehicle.

I should have been more clear, there was a sticker on the vehicle when I purchase it but when they detailed my truck they removed it and did not place it in the vehicle. I did see the sticker before purchasing the vehicle.

i'd ask the dealer, and if they're no help, call 800-nissan1. they might be able to generate another one based on the VIN. even if it's just a print-out and not an actual sticker.

I had a similar issue with an Infiniti I bought a couple of years ago. The dealer told me they couldn't find it after the make-ready guys detailed my car for delivery. I demanded and they continued to drag their feet saying it was ordered from the manufacturer. I called Infiniti Consumer Affairs and they verified that they had not received a request from the dealer for a new one. However, ICA said they would get one to me and about a week later it came in the mail.

I made sure that I asked for it before leaving the dealer. It now sits in my glovebox.

The guys out in detailing more than likely threw it away when they got your truck ready. Not too many people ask for the sticker.

I always receive the Maroney sticker with every car. t does help to ask at the point of sale as it's easier to lose as time passes by.

Yeah so was mine! The dealer said they couldn't find the sticker and when I got home I found it in the owner manual in the glove box!
