What is best to clean interior door panels?

I tried Armor all on a small spot on the plastic of the interior door panels, but it seemed to slightly discolor it.

Does anyone have any recommendations on a cleaner that would work well?

I used/use a diluted solution of Greased Lightning and..

h20 (50/50). After the cleaning, I go over it with 404 protectant (I think that's the name). It is a special UV inhibitor that also conditions plastic, rubber, vinyl, leather, etc.. I use this everywhere...outside plastic, bed liner rails, door seals, weather stripping. My interior looks brand new! PS...the only place I can find the 404 here in Daytona Beach is at a marine supply store. It is real popular among boaters for protecting everything.

The proper name of the protectant referred to by CyBwRBill is 303 Aerospace Protectant. He is correct that your best bet to find it locally will be a marine supply store, although some Ace hardware stores do carry it. It leaves more of a matte finish than the shiny finish of Armorall, and that may or may not suit your taste.

For scuffs and dirt I use the "Mr Clean" Magic Eraser. Unreal how well this works. I had a dark mark down low from a shoe that I tried everything (409, Cinch etc..) and nothing worked. That pad and a little water and it literally wiped right off. Good Luck!

404 aerospace protectant for the plastic (inside and outside), and 404 fabric protectant for the seats and carpet.

you can get it at most marine stores, and other places. this stuff might be expensive ($15 / bottle), but well worth it.

you will be amazed at how it makes the plastic look, and it doesn't leave a greasy feel like Armorall. it's also better for the plastic and protects better.

it also helps clean / protect & remove wax buildup on plastic parts on the exterior. makes the pastic trim around the bed and on the rear bumper look better than new!

This stuff does work like magic! (No pun intended) I just bought some from Lowes and used it to remove the dried wax residue that accidentally got on the black plastic parts of my Titan. This worked when everything else failed. It also removed the bugs that were plastered to the front bumper effortlessly.

It depends on what you are talking about cleaning. If you've got a spot that just won't come off, use the Mr. Clean Magic eraser as everyone else has said. If you're just talking about normal cleaning and improving appearance, I use the armor all cleaning wipes (not the protectant) and then use the Meguiars NXT Tech Protectant. This stuff is great..but a little pricey.

BT - thanks for the suggestion. Just bought the erasers and it worked great on my kick panels. These things are good.

Hand cleaner any brand (i.e. Go-Jo), removes grease, shoe marks, smudges. Put a dab on a wet cloth.
