I don't own one myself but my dad has a Leer on his truck and loves it. The only down side is the weight, they are on the heavy side [fiberglass] but if you don't intend on taking it off often that wouldn't be a problem.

The guys over on the Ford diesel site where I hang out also say
that the Leers are no good. That is the majority opinion. The majority says that if you buy an ARE (www.4are.com) or a Snugtop (www.snugtop.com) you can't go wrong. I'm not sure if the Leers were a problem for the Ford guys because of the flex from the bigger beds on the superdutys or not. The Leers sure look as good as the rest. I have a Retrax on my diesel (soon to be replaced by a Titan) so I have no first hand experience with the toppers. When I did go to the local ARE/Snugtop dealer he told me that if it was his truck he would go with ARE for the qulity and design/hardware used (they were the same price but no telling what his profit margin was). Some of the problems mentioned with Leers was cracks, rear window hardware failure, and rubber gasket failure. Some of the guys over there love them though.
I have a LEER 100R on my King Cab - it really looks good on the truck. I've only had for 4 months and haven't experienced any problems with it. If you have the utility track system in your truck, make sure you tell the dealer before you order you truck cap

Thanks for the comments. When I had my Tundra, the Leer also got a alot of bad rap on all of their sites, but I like what I've seen at Leer, and figure with a lifetime warranty on fiberglass and paint (only 1 yr. on hardware), I should be safe. For the money, the 100R looks like the best deal.
I bought an ARE IMPULSE cheaper than the Z. About the same as LEER 100R. $1,250 installed. NO side windows, fuzzy headliner, sliding front window. It's great-good paint match(sedona) fits back of cab perfect. Fiberglass real smooth on sides. The leers I looked at without windows seemed much more wavy. Real nice lines for my king cab. Only comes in cab high though. Rear is about 3/4" lower than front matches roofline of truck. ARE has nice reinforcment in the mounting flange. It looks like a sleek truck, not an suv. Good Luck.
I had a Leer on my Tundra, and found the quality to be very good. I've heard positive things about the ARE and the SnugTop canopies also. I didn't care for the styling of the ARE or the Leer 100R, so I went with the Leer 100XQ.
I've had it for about 4 months and found the fit and finish to be excellent.

Nothing on Snugtop website for a Titan when I checked it this weekend. When I bought my Leer100XQ in October, it wasn't on the Leer website. I pointed it out to the dealer who said they would tell the factory rep. Too bad some websites are not up to date.

Snugtop now has two and possibly three really beautiful and stylish caps for the Titan: Super Sport and XV (extra vision). I am strongly considering the Super Sport. The price is a bit steep. Far more than A.R.E. or Leer. I was quoted $2040. delivered and installed for the SuperSport. It is IMO, far better smoothly integrated into the Titan than either A.R.E. or Leer. No contest. http://www.snugtop.com/p_supersport.htm
I am also waiting for them to respond with info on whether the new XTR will be available for the Titan. Features:
"the XTR’s built-in roof rack ads an extra practical dimension. Featuring husky 2" diameter bars that blend into a distinctive fairing, the XTR can accommodate a full line of accessories (from Yakima) designed to securely carry bicycles, snowboards, skis, surfboards, and a whole lot more." http://www.snugtop.com/p_xtr.htm http://www.snugtop.com/pr/Snugtop_XT..._PreRunner.htm
