Rear seals and bearings relplaced

Well at 5000 miles i notice my rear diffrental fluid level suddenly lowered and so I took it to the dealer. They are now in the process of relplacing my seals and bearings.
When the rear end is going out are these the first signs you will have of future trouble with a rear end or has the one time fix been all that was needed for those who have had to have it done?

Sounds like you got one of the bad ones. From what I have heard if it's a bad one they go out pretty quickly.
