Uneven Tow mirrors

I have the big tow mirrors. Yesterday I noticed the rt side mirror is turned inwards in comparison to the left. I thought I was seeing things so Got out and looked from the front and verified it. The rt side tow mirror is angled at least 5-10 degrees inwards in comparison to the drivers side. I thought maybe I hit something and pushed it in but no, thats the way it is designed. I can see how it makes sense since it is farther from the driver and the more acute angle allows for better vision from the drivers seat.
I've owned several vehicles throughout the years and this never came to my attention. I feel like a D***A** admitting I did not know this. Am I the only one or has anyone else just noticed this?

wow, i always from time to time keep thinking the passenger side mirror is slightly pushed in but i always find that it isn't... i just knew there was up, but i thought that my eyes were playing tricks on me. i thought maybe it was just mine that did that, plus i have the regular non-tow mirrors...

This has been noted in an earlier thread and they are designed that way.
