The thing that originally made me get a full size truck a few years back is the leg and head room. I am 6'4" and drove Toyotas most of my life before my last truck (f150) - well, let's say I was disappointed that the Tundra isn't really a full-size truck... until the Titan came about.... anyway, after driving mine for a couple days there are a couple observations that I am wondering if any other tall guys notice.... I am going to look into getting a windshield w/o the dark strip at the top because I am looking through it too much.... also, I notice when I sit at lights I sometimes have to stoop slightly to see the light overhead.... it depends on the intersection but that never was the case with my f150.... Also, I would love it if the power seat would adjust to let the back sink down further.... I know there is a subwoofer under there so I suppose it's an impossibility w/o major work and probably a new seat. Overall, I love the truck's performance but it is a small amount more cramped than my 99f150.... to be fair - the new fords had less room too, mine was a 1999... and after driving the titan, I don't care if I were driving from a milk crate squished against the dash.... I am sold on the performance and all around versatility of this truck....
I'd have agree, (I'm around 6' 3"). Just an inch or two lower on the power seat would have been nice.
You have to find the right balance between reclining, tilt of the seat, (fwd), and lumbar. For me the blue strip at the top, ends up being just above my line of site, so it works out very well as a visor.
This is too bad because this would have been a great truck for those 6' 6" and up NBA types. There is several inches of head room up there.
6' 4" also. I have been noticing that when driving into bright sun with the visor down, I seem to be looking at alot of visor and not much windshield, although same scenario in the wife's Camry.
I am 6'4" and it works fine for me. Depending on where you stop you will have to bend down to seen the lights. I had an expedition which for all purposes is the same as the f150 and had to do the same. In fact, in every car/truck I have owned in the past this sometimes happens. I do kind of feel the Titans seat sits too high though, that along with the crappy 04 head rests make it a pain to find a comfortable driving position after my wife drives the truck.
I'm 6'5" and have the same problem. I'm thinking of installing prerunners lift and raise the front a couple inches which may take care of my concerns. Any thoughts from folks that have prerunners lift?

6'4" here also. Yes, it seems that I do look through some of the tint band at the top of the windshield, and sometimes you have to look out from under the roof at a stop light if you've pulled up too far, but nothing out of the ordinary. I find that the front of the seat is too high so I usually have both the front and the back as far down as they'll go. Headroom isn't any problem, and legroom is one of the big reasons I went with the Titan. I had a top of the line loaded 04 Sierra that I traded. The console was always rubbing my right leg and got very annoying on a long trip. I like the console in the LE and find that I have tons more knee room and my shins don't bump on the console anymore. As for the headrest, with a lot of my height being through the torso, I always end up raising the headrest to fit. The 05's new headrest still doesn't go far enough forward in my opinion.

I was just about to suggest that to you guys. I am 6'2 so I don't have as much of a problem as you guys. I would think that since the front of the Titan has a bit of a slope to it, leveling might take care of at least the stop light issue.

I am sure I am totally dreaming but last night when I was showing a friend my new truck and we were just looking at things I realized that if only the seat could be lowered a couple of inches, all would be fine.... with the subwooofer and other equipment I suppose it's just not even feasible but I think I am going to at least check into it....
I'm 6'4" as well, coming from a 2002 Frontier I have no complaints about room in the Titan. Well, I do struggle a bit with the power seat, as I tend to brush by it forcing me to adjust the seat all the time.

Well, I love the idea about the daystar leveling kit, but has anyone that is tall put it on and want to comment whether it helps. I figure the taller the better, why not add a cst 8 in lift, then most of what needs to be seen will be beneath the mighty titan.
I'm 6'8" and I have experienced the "look through the top of the windsheild thing" in just about everything I've ever driven. It would be nice if the seat would lower a little bit farther, especially in the rear, but it's not really a big issue. Besides, the advantages of being tall far outweigh the disadvantages. Would you rather duck down a little to see a traffic light or have to screw blocks on the pedals and sit on a big pillow just to drive your truck! Bigger is better!
