Question Fosgate stereo issue?

Has the problem with the fade in the Fosgate System been fixed? I have an 05' with the born on date of October and I think I have the stereo fade issue. It sounds great with the CD but, the stereo sounds weak. I want to make sure they have resolved the issue before I take it in.

The TSB will not even apply to your car. I don't know that your dealer will do anything for you. There is still a slight difference in volume and sound quality between FM and CD but not nearly what it used to be...same thing with the reception fading in and out.

Persaonlly, I am going on my 4th head-unit for various problems.

I know the 2005 RF will (and is supposed to) fade as you slow down and get louder as you speed up. Could that be the issue?

If it is, you can shut that off...more annoying than good.

No, I know about the speed/volume control for the stereo but, It seems to loose the clarity of the highs sometimes. It's not that bad but, my aftermarket stereo in my old truck sounded much better.

It's not fading, it's changing from stereo to mono, and back. I have to have mine replaced for the same reason.
