tranny 'shudder' @ 3-2 downshift

This was touched on in another thead and seemed deserving of its own.... my titan has 350 miles on it and I have noticed what seems to be a problem with the transmission.... about 1 in 10 downshifts from 3 to 2 the tranny seems to get lost for about 1/2 second.... the result is a jerking shudder from the rear wheels.... again, this is only a fraction of the time and it makes this shift so smooth the other 9 of 10 times you just can't believe it could be bad... but then it happens and there is no mistaking it.... You would likely never notice this unless you regularly downshift (3 to 2 specifically) when coming upon a corner or to a stop.... it's never happened to me between any other gears..... any thoughts or similar experiences??

It has been touched on COMPLETELY HERE there is no need for a new thread on it. Information on a forum and a problem such as this should be confined to one spot to get the most information possible.

There were really no answers, just questions..... and the last post was in November so it doesn't really seem that the board is overloaded with threads about it.....

In any case, I am curious if anyone has experienced this long term and if it's caused other problems... or if they have had any luck getting it replaced/repaired....

Did I jump on him? Call him a newbie retarded idiot? Did I attack or negate his concern in ANY way? Did I tell him to search? Did I even get angry or say one cross word? NO, I merely stated that it should all be in one thread.....a little touchy aren't you? Get over it and find something better to fight about...sheeesh. I guess only people with less than 20 posts are entitled to their own opinions?

I think Tom Mincarelli is getting a new transmission because of this problem, you can PM Tom on this, he has been agressively persuring this matter over quite a time span. Good luck on the tranny issue!

The last post was made 01-18-2005, 01:28 PM, a week ago? And there is an answer there, which is that someone, after long fighting, has had it investigated, and they are trying to replace his transmission.

Also, to appease those naysayers here, welcome to the forums, glad you are here, and I hope you didn't take anything I said to be offensive...I just wrote a short reply is all.

Not trying to start anything here, but you're not a Mod, they will handle those issues, it's not up to the members, and people post differnt post all the time for the same issues without searching, it's when the same guy post the same questions in a differnt post it get a little testy. No hard feelings here.
