Man is it cold here!!!

It got down to 45 degrees last night and its only getting to 72 during the day here. Can you believe it I had to turn the heat on!!!! WOW!! I hope my truck will start in the morning. AAHHH just poken fun. Gosh I really feel sorry for those of you up North. That is why I stopped driving a truck in Michigan and moved here. Only problem is I have a 4X4 and Fl is flatter than Kansas and no SNOW What to do, what to do? I guess I could go to the Beach. Good luck to all of you up there and be safe!!!

I had almost as much fun driving up to the resort this past weekend, as the actual skiing. A few unexpected drifts kept the drive interesting. Yeah I don't know what everybody's problem is with these cooler temps up here. Although 20 below windchills while sitting on the lifts was a bit nippy.

HudsonValleyTitan,
we do have seasons here in FL.
1. Hurricane season
2. Tourist season
3. Spring training season (baseball)
4. Skeeter season
5. Love bug season
6. Rainy season
7. High school football season, my personal favorite.

(some of these seasons overlap quite a bit)

#1 is not boring, believe me, especially this past year.

It's snowing right now. I believe we are getting 8-10" on top of the 24-30" we got a few days ago. Going to be a fun ride home from work today - this truck loves the snow.

LMAO! I bet. My post was meant as a joke. I'm jealous this time of year. Most of my family is in Florida (Orlando and Cape Coral) and I hear it all the time!

I'm in FLA too.....

I don't love the heat and mugginess one bit. Florida is almost unbearable 6 months of the year.

Guess the grass is always greener......

Sweating like a pig in 82 degrees-trying to remove exhaust

I wish it was 45 degrees here(New Orleans). If you could read the thermometer in the picture you would see it is 82 degrees here which makes it even a bigger pain in the AZZ trying to get the MFing exhaust off this 400cc POS!.Actually thr bike is pretty nice for a 400-and it is in great shape for a 1982 Maxim Yamaha. In my wisdom I decided that I "needed" the 1.3 hp more that the 400 Seca exhaust would add(might add,if my guess is correct). So I am sweating my butt off trying to pry apart the MFing crosspipe that runs between the 2 sides of the mufflers. No one in the world can feel a 1.3 hp difference,so I should have my head examined-especially since it looks like I will destroy the stock exhaust while removing it.There is even a fair chance that the Seca 400 exhaust won't fit-I will be well and truely screwed!!
I should be stuffing the DVD drive-burner into this computer, but I chose to waste 3 hours(so far) in this heat.I bet the picture is too big to transmit to this site-that kind of day!!
Any hints on getting this rusted solid cross pipe apart? Thanks.Charlie I have used "Liquid wrench"-4 lb maul and 2x4,and a chisel so far.

I know I used to love to get my car going really fast in the snow and hit the emergency brake and let the fun begin. ( Till you go in the ditch and spend the next 3 hours digging and finding old wood to put under the tires to get me out). Still it is nice to sit outside in the winter with shorts and a shirt.

You are right sir!
#8. Fishing season (365) put Golf in there too.

I also forgot:
9. Oven mitt season (only way to grab your steering wheel during the summer).
a. also known in some places here as, "if you put your sunglasses up in the overhead compartment you will brand your face" season.
