Titan Envy

I had just parked next to a Chevy Silverado and about 4 guys piled out of it. When they walked by my Titan they all literally stopped and started talking about how sweet the Titan's were. They had Titan Envy!

I got out and walked by them and said, YUP!

Reminded me of those lame Hemi commercials, sweeeeet.

Same thing happened to me when I was getting my oil changed. These guys that were waiting for a truck (FORD F150) in the bay next to me went goo goo over the Titan . I love it when that happens.

I was taking a friend to work the ther day, And he saw a buddywalking to the shop and asked me to pull up there. So i did...HE had the nerve to tell me:You should have bought a chevy!" I said: Why would i want an inferior product? He said that he could smoke my poor little rice burner. I laughed and said "you really don't know do you? The Nissan Titan beats the silverado in every way! and burned out of there showing him the power of the titan!!
HAIL!!! TITAN!!!

Hehehe, my Titan has drug a Chevy. When we stopped at an accident to help, they asked us to pull the bumper out on the Suburban that got hit so that they could drive it to the nearest gas station and get help (over 70 miles away, nothing in between). So, the trucker who hit the Suburban (Suburban's fault) wrapped a chain around the bumper (which was pushed back into the tire) and hooked it to our Titan's tow receiver. With the Suburban in park, parking brake on, driver in the seat with his foot on the brake, my hubby put the Titan in 4LOW and hit the gas.........pulled the bumper back out, but also drug the Suburban a good ways too. VERY impressive power from these trucks!!!

Last summer I was at a gas station putting some air in the tires when this big F350 pulled up and a bunch of burly construction workers piled out of it. They all ran right over to my truck.
I thought "Oh great, time to argue...". But they just gushed over how cool the Titan looked and I had to give them the whole tour. They really loved how the rear King Cab doors opened. My favorite part was when one guy looked at the Deepwater and said, "Man, you got the EXACT right color!"
I bet at least a few of those guys are driving Titans right now!

Around these parts I see so many Fords, Dodges, & Chevys I think I have gone cross-eyed sometimes! But, I don't get any challengers off the line anymore and I get lots of 'Oooo'ers and 'Aaahhh'ers whenever I stop and get gas or I'm at some shopping center.

Every now and then, some sh!t for brains needle d!ck wants to talk trucks and I try to be respectful of their opinion and what they may or *may not* know about trucks in general and they try to trash my Titan because it's "inferior" and they would NEVER buy one. To make my point with out a huge debate, I generally use this counter question, "So, if I can prove to you statistically or in a performance test that my Titan can out perform your (insert truck name here) would you buy one?" (depending on options and $$$ of course) In following 37L1's signature, I hate arguing with idiots so, that question generally backs them down without me having to rough them up too much.

Most of what I get from other guys is "Yeah, I looked at those, but then I bought a (insert your choice of P.O.S.) Wish I had got the Titan instead". Then they start with the questions ...... did you get this or that and so on. Kinda makes you feel like that guy in the Dodge Ram commercial. This truck does attract a lot of attention.

When we first got the sedona Titan last summer we took a trip to Clam Gulch, we had rented a 22' travel trailer and hit the road for the 10 hour trip. The day after we got there we had so many people at the campground oooing and aaahing over the Titan, it was funny. A whole bunch of people came up in a new F-250, they wanted to know all about the Titan. Mr Tidy got his first scratch that week too, I opened the tailgate with sand on the bumper.........ouch!

I was walking out of a Quizno's the other night and there was a

guy getting out of Ford 150 King Ranch edition (last body style). He looks over at me and says "nice truck". I thanked him and drove away silently happy that the Ford dealer pi$$ed me off and caused me to look at other vehicles.
