Possible Convert

Hey all!! I am currently an '04 F150 owner and the truck is due to get turned back in a couple of months. Now here is my dilemma, I love Fords but the new Titan sounds AWSOME and has gobs of power compared to my for 4.6 V8. I know your opinions on this site might be biased (LOL ) but I was wondering about your opinions on the Titans, gas mileage, comfort, reliability etc.. The biggest reason holding me back from a Titan is the lack of a regular Cab version, other than that.... me likey!!!!

I've had mine for almost 6 months now and absolutely love it! Mine is problem free and I still have to look at it in the garage every night before I go to bed!

Yes SIR!!! Love to climb in and drive it EVERYDAY! It definitely helps me put a bad at work behind me every TIME!!

Comfort and reliability are mucho importante to me and I have owned previous Nissans so I had faith already built up. The performance, gas mileage (LOL! It's a truck afterall. It's about the same comparitively speaking.) and comfort are top notch in my book. I drove the big 3 and they all paled in comparison.

What Qwikwhip, dilleyoshemp and logicjunkie said! One bada$$ truck that I love to find reasons to drive-- in fact, test one out yourself!

After having a brand new '04 F-150, for 2 weeks, the Titan just floored me when I floored it! 1 test drive and my wife and I were signing the papers! I have had mine for a year and still love it as much as the day I got it. Only problem is that my wife drives it more than I do.

Thanks for the honest opinions !! I am going to test drive one this week. I have heard them running/reving and I fell in love with that exhaust note instantly!! Ford needs to put a tougher exhaust on their trucks, I think that would help keep more people happy.

Yeah once you drive it and get on the gas your hooked, i've never driven a truck like this one. I've had it a year this month and I still love driving it. As far as reliability.........there have been a few problems, most minor but some have bought genuine lemons. But I don't think that the Titan has more problems than any other brand of truck.
Just be sure before you buy it to go over it with a fine tooth comb and don't be afraid to point out any problems to the dealer before you purchase it.
One other thing, don't expect to get great gas mileage cause your probably not going to get it. But I don't mind loosing a few mpg for the power and the ride that this truck gives.
Good luck.

Since I have gotten mine it's been amazing. Babies now smile at me when I see them on the street. Dogs let me pet them and wag their tails. I've dropped 20 pounds due to excessive leg movements stepping on the gas. Messages from women overflow my answering machine. The temperature has not dropped below 50 nor above 70 since I signed the papers.

In all seriousness, it is (so far) the best truck I have ever owned, and I've owned a lot of trucks.

I test drove one quite awhile ago when I bought my '04 f150 but I must have been in a weird mood or something because it didn't leave an impression with me nor did the looks appeal to me, but now I WANT ONE! I think those darn things grew on me, I like the way they look and love the way they sound.
Thanks for the honesty with the gas mileage, my truck currently gets as high as 19mpg and as low as 10mpg is that what I could expect with the titan? It's acceptable, after all these are large trucks.

I also test drove one before I brought my 04 f150! They have a lot more power then the f150's but not to start something up here, but I wouldn't trade my f150 in for anything. Stick with Fords, fords been making trucks for a long time now and are proven! They once again out sold anything and everything for the 2004 year! No wonder why everyone wants The F150, best truck on the road!

Well, what can I say-- trolling, trolling, trolling! 04f150 certainly has "an opinion," albeit one that most on this forum would disagree with, and certainly one that would likely be best expressed in the Ford forum (and not on TitanTalk)! That said, he is entitled to an opinion, even if it is grossly in error..........

Own a ford and hang out with the Titans. Get off the porch, only big dogs allowed here.
