Big Tow Mirror Install on '05?

Has anyone tried installing the tow mirror kit on an '05 LE? I just picked up a kit from the dealership and the wiring harnesses don't match. The instructions say it will work on any '04 model and I wouldn't think Nissan would go changing things like that already!?!? Of course, I didn't figure this out until I'd already ripped my door panel off and installed the new mirror ... that's the last time I follow instructions properly!

Does the '05 BT package comes with puddle lights on the mirrors? If so, maybe that's why it's different. The harness on my original mirrors has more contacts than the new one and is a different shape. I've attached a photo.

The dealership is calling Nissan tomorrow to find out if they boxed up the wrong mirrors.

I guess this is what I get for settling for a Titan without BT!!! I want to kick myself right now!

So you have an '04 LE? And the 'original" harness pictured is from your original LE mirror with puddle lamp? Please clarify.

Also, I would like to know the difference since I'm getting the big mirrors and need to know the differences as well...

Yeah, that is kind of confusing ... sorry!

I've got an '05 LE. Yes, the one labeled original is the '05 mirror with the integrated puddle lamp.

After I found this out, I called the dealership and spoke to the guy that ordered them. He said that I have the correct ones, according to the computer. He even asked a tech about it, but the tech didn't know either. The instructions that came with the tow mirror kit says it will work on all '04's. So he is going to call Nissan tomorrow to find out what the deal is.
