waranty???

I own a toyota sequoia and took it to a local dealer for some waranty work and they told me that since i lived within 50 miles of the original dealership i purchased it from i have to take it to them i dont know if this toyota or the dealerships program but is it this way with a nissan because then i would go to a dealer 7 miles away instead of 35+ miles away

Warranty work can be done at ANY Nissan dealer. The only reason they ask if you bought it there is because they reserve the right to serve their own customers first. Even so, I've never seen anyone turned away or have to wait long because they bought it elswhere.

You should be able to go to ANY Toyota dealer. They must not be looking to sell you your next vehicle with that logic. Call Toyota customer service and ask them if they can intercede. I get my Nissan serviced at the dealer 2 miles up the road from me and not where I bought it 10 miles away. They get paid for warranty repairs.

that's what i figured they took my money for the 30,000 mile service but i guess that's where it ends with them i guess
