I vote for the Fiat, having once driven one across the country with some college buddies. Fortunately, we had tools along and had all taken auto shop in high school. We took shifts driving (short) and working on the car (long).

I remember after finishing high school you could pick up a Vega that looked brand new for about $400, because the engines were junk in them. I drove a friend's one time with a 327 in it, and that thing would really move.

A lot of kids back then would up end with those kinds of cars, mainly because they couldn't afford anything else.

what was so bad about the Bronco 2s? I knew several people who drove them and they were pretty tough trucks

Not a very valid poll since you can "Chicago vote". To those uninitiated out there, that means Early and Often.

I thought that the Edsel was a marketing disaster and that it was not a bad car. The "vagina" front grill was stupid looking and limited its sales.

The final version of the Fiero I thought was supposed to be good. The early models were tremendously underpowered, but GM finally put a V6 under the hood, and made other improvements, just before they stopped production.

Isn't that picture of the "Bronco 2," actually a full size Bronco? Huh, maybe Ford has four of the worst cars and not three....

My brother bought a new AMC Gremlin, drove it about 3 months. A woman backed into him in a grocery store parking lot. Impact was well below 5 mph. Hit him in the right rear corner. The impact popped out the rear window, and the windshield. It crushed the quarter panel, broke a spring mount, and buckled the frame. The car was a total loss, his insurance company wanted to buy him a new one. He was so freaked out by the damage from what should have been a simple fender ding, that he bought a Caddy. He's driven Caddy's ever since!

wasn't the fiero the one they called 'fire-o' because they combusted on the freeway???
